Hi there! Great program! It actually seems to display real time index numbers with seconds refresh, feature I was looking in another widgets and didnt find it! (minimum time 1 minute refresh).

I would really like if an alarm can be set, like in marketwatch or yahoo, to alert when an index goes up or down in a specific % or value.

I am also trying to see the charts intraday but they dont display and I am wondering why?

I love the widget but I can not get it to run on my new Vista PC. Have there been any other reports of problems with Vista?

I am using the latest Spoken Quotes and found that it is causing my workstation shutdown to take a very long time. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the latest updates.
With SQ running, it appears to hang for over 3 minutes, then I get a window to "end now" for Yahoo Widget engine. Windows closes quickly after I click the end now button. If I unload SQ before beginning a restart, it takes 12 seconds for windows to close. I repeated the test twice with the same results - with SQ 3min to close, without SQ 12 seconds.

This is the best stock widget so far. Good job! I especialy like that i can build separate portfolios.
What I'd like to see is:

1) a view of the total portfolio value - perhaps when you hover over the net profit/loss display, in addition to saying 'portfolio profit or loss" it could say "Portfolio value $12,245" or "total value: $12,245" or something.
This display could also show the total dollar amount invested.

2) Sort the list by alphabetical, gainers/losers, market cap, volume etc

3) Being able to get quotes from other sources too, would be good.

4) Since it's got audio functions, howsabout a 'closing bell' sound when the market opens and closes?

(pretty soon, you could start charging for it ;-)
