Just a quick notice, one of the benefits of signing up as a member of this site (which is free by the way) is that you can create your own stock portfolio and track it. It gets displayed in place of the "Market Overview" block on the right side bar.

There are plans in the near future to be able to synchronize your widget portfolio with the site portfolio. This way your portfolio can travel with you if you happen not to use a laptop, but use the widget at both work and home. You will then never need to worry about entering a symbol into the portfolio at one place and then having to enter it again somewhere else.

The quotes on the site are normally updated every 15 minutes and the quotes themselves are delayed 15-20 miuntes. You can see the last update times by clicking the "My Portfolio" link after logging in.

I am also planning on making the widget and site support multiple portfolios for a sinlge user, but that is a little ways off.
